It’s county fair time in the 315. This week, the Booneville-Oneida County Fair is in full swing. Also, the Madison County Fair is this week with a special musical performance, Darryl Worley. Both are great family-friendly times to check out the community, try good food, and see some local and national music.

July 25th is National Wine and Cheese Day, two treats we can find easily in the 315. Head out and enjoy your favorite winery and have a slice of locally made cheese too. Let us know how you celebrate it.

Food Trucks and Foodie Fun in the 315

Good news this week in the 315

Get ready to celebrate a century and a half of dedicated service as the Mohawk Fire Department and Alexander Hose Company mark their 150th Anniversary on Saturday, July 26th! The day kicks off at 11:00 AM with a Firefighters Parade through the village, followed by a celebration at Weller Park featuring a Fire Apparatus show, music, bounce houses, and a historical exhibit inside Weller Library. Join along to honor their incredible commitment to our community!

Join the CPV Rescue & Sanctuary in celebrating eight wonderful years of saving cats at their anniversary party! Drop in anytime between 10 AM and 1 PM. They'll have refreshments, raffle baskets, and a commemorative coloring page for everyone. Plus, all attendees will receive a limited-edition vinyl sticker! Special guest James McBendy will be there from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM for photos. They’ll also be hosting a can and bottle drive from 8 AM to 2 PM that day. Come celebrate their success and look forward to many more years of making a difference!
