This Week is Packed with Things to Do in the 315!

Registration is open for the 2025 CNY Memorial Stair Climb.

Registration is open to participate in the 2025 CNY Memorial Stair Climb. While participation is limited to active first responders (see rules in link), there’s plenty you can do to help by sponsoring or supporting a fundraising team.

The event pays tribute to the 343 firefighters, 70 law enforcement officers, and 8 EMTs who lost their lives on 9/11. The stair climb represents the 110 flights of stairs first responders climbed, attempting to save people trapped in the World Trade Center that day. 

Each participant wears a name tag with an image of one of the first responders who sacrificed it all to help their community. Also, they wear fire gear in tribute to those heroes.

The Utica Harbor Point grand opening is June 5th, from 4 to 8. Join the Utica Chamber of Commerce for the opening of Harbor Point in North Utica. This is a free, family-friendly event with food trucks and live music by Mallory Road and the Shawn Smith Band. The Utica Zoo Mobile, Children’s Mobile Museum, and Saranac Beer Tent will also be there.

Paradise Eatery is known for tropical-inspired and healthy food options, including dairy and gluten-free options. Check them out at either location for smoothies, tacos, bowls, burgers, and more. 

Tom’s Natural Foods Co-Op's grand reopening in Clinton, with its June 4 ribbon cutting. Clinton’s natural food shop moved from its College St. location to 3 Fountain St., suite 301.
